Tommy Robinson could face jail as new contempt of court claim lodged
Briefly

Tommy Robinson, whose legal name is Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, is reportedly facing jail after new contempt of court claims were issued stemming from repeated breaches of a High Court order.
Robinson was previously ordered by a judge not to repeat false claims about Jamal Hijazi, who successfully sued him for defamation after being falsely accused of violence.
Campaign group Hope Not Hate has alleged that Robinson has consistently ignored the injunction by spreading defamatory allegations against Mr. Hijazi, leading to new legal pursuits against him.
The Attorney General's Office has proceeded with contempt claims against Robinson, asserting that his actions defy a High Court ruling meant to protect the integrity of Mr. Hijazi's reputation.
