To safeguard user accounts, Meta plans to implement a system where users can upload a video selfie for identity verification after account takeovers, further enhancing security.
Meta remains cautious about potential threats posed by deepfake technologies, stating, 'We don't have data yet from this test to fully understand how well it stands up against synthetic videos.'
