The collision occurred this morning, at about 7.20am, resulting in the tragic death of a male driver in his 20's, while no other injuries were reported.
Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to this collision to come forward, particularly those who might have dash-cam footage from the area around the time of the incident.
The scene is currently undergoing a technical examination by Forensic Collision Investigators as local diversions are in place due to the ongoing investigation.
