Faces of the Farm Bill in Mississippi: Darnella Winston - Modern Farmer
Briefly

Our organization was born out of the Civil Rights movement in 1972, and our focus has been corporate development, land retention, and advocacy.
We have to be able to say where we want to allocate that money. We try to come up with priorities and recommendations as far as what our members and our clients would like to see.
Broadband is also going to be very important for us in the Farm Bill...you have to have broadband.
In order for us to keep saving our land, we need that relending program to be able to save that land for the next generation.
