A man in Epsom reportedly directed racial abuse at passers-by on August 9, leading to a police investigation and an appeal for witnesses.
The police are seeking assistance from anyone who witnessed a racially aggravated public order offence that occurred at 7.30pm in Derby Square.
A 53-year-old man from Epsom has been arrested under suspicion of racial abuse, but he has since been released on bail pending further investigations.
