Henceforth is a new brewery/wine bar/restaurant on H Street, conceived by Mike Spinello, who envisioned it post-military service. The venue serves nine unique housemade beers crafted by head brewer Ben Mullet and features an extensive natural wine list curated by Monica Lee. The food menu includes hearty sandwiches, wings, and vegetarian options by chef Walfer Hernandez. Designed to move away from traditional brewery aesthetics, Henceforth offers a more sophisticated environment, with plush seating and a rooftop patio, catering to an evolved craft beer drinking experience.
When I'm done with the military... I want to build something, said Mike Spinello, illustrating the 20 year vision behind Henceforth's conception as a brewery and wine bar.
Our starting premise was that craft beer drinkers have grown up with the breweries, and they want more than just a place to drink.
