The study reveals significant insights into age groups, with 90% of the 12-34 cohort engaging in monthly listening, while the 35-54 demographic also remains high at nearly 80%.
This year’s findings indicate a remarkable rise in online audio listening among those aged 55 and above, who show a remarkable jump from 52% last year to 63%.
Spotify continues to dominate online audio brand awareness with 87% recognition, while YouTube Music has risen to take the second position in usage, just behind Spotify.
