I know the type of respect he has for the game and for himself...He has all the potential in the world...If he does that, I think he'll be the best second-year linebacker in the league, in my opinion.

A third-round pick out of Clemson, Simpson recorded 165 total tackles over 33 games...as a rookie for the Ravens last season, he only logged 46 defensive snaps...he was a fixture on special teams.
Now, the Ravens aren't likely to just hand Simpson the job...Malik Harrison, who played more defensive snaps than Simpson last year, provides competition for the position.
