Billionaires' Fleshy Heads Put on Robot Dog Bodies
""that one reinterprets in the style of Picasso, and so on. Some of the robots produce the NFTs, some just produce prints and certificates.""
""has been tested and verified as 100 percent pure GMO-free, organic dogshit originating from a medium adult dog anus.""
""This is AI reinterpreting the images and what the humanoid is seeing," Winkelmann explained. "There is an analogy; we're increasingly going to view the world through AI. We're also seeing the world through the lens of artists and tech leaders like Elon Musk and Mark Zucke""
The installation Regular Animals displays flesh-colored robot dogs fitted with hyper-realistic human heads of billionaires, famous artists, and the creator. The robots jitter inside a pen at Art Basel Miami Beach and have sold for about $100,000 each, except one reserved piece. Each dog is equipped with a camera and printer and periodically excretes a certificate tied to a unique digital photo that patrons can buy as an NFT. Each certificate proclaims the output as "100 percent pure GMO-free, organic dogshit." The project frames AI reinterpretation and the influence of tech leaders on perception.
