Ultimately, there's no way to win as a woman: if you don't have kids then there are people (including the Pope) who will call you selfish.
People have a bizarre number of strong opinions ... about the number of kids that you have and when and how you have them.
Choosing not to have a second child should be a completely unremarkable decision... Yet, women are still made to feel guilty about their choices.
There's still a disturbingly widespread idea that a family of three is not a real family and that an only child is doomed to a lonely life.
