I'm 58 and work as a nanny. I wish I could be as present with my own grandchildren.
Briefly

I've always felt that my real calling in life has been working with children. From the very first time I babysat as a teenager, I knew this was my passion.
While I wish I could help my daughters care for their six children, our estrangement means that part of my life is profoundly missing.
Each bond I form with the children I watch is precious to me. I nurture their growth and development, just as I did with my own kids.
Working as a nanny has allowed me to stay connected to the joys of childhood, fostering love and learning within each family I join.
