Google Ads is introducing a major update called Smart Bidding Exploration, its most significant bidding change in over ten years. Advertisers using target Return on Ad Spend (tROAS) can now access Smart Bidding Exploration at both campaign and portfolio levels. Early tests indicate a potential 20% increase in conversions without additional cost. This update aims to optimize searches for lesser-known but valuable queries allowing advertisers to capture more qualified leads that were previously overlooked, as conveyed by Google.
