Two '1-in-30 million' orange lobsters, Tangerine and Navel, saved from LI supermarkets a week after another was rescued in the Hamptons
Briefly

The rescue of three "1-in-30 million" orange lobsters highlights their rarity and the effort to return them back to the Long Island Sound for conservation.
According to Humane Long Island's John Di Leonardo, "It always makes me feel good to do this rescue work, but we know it's just a drop in the bucket."
Di Leonardo pointed out that none of the stores had ever previously seen an orange lobster, affirming their rarity with "the rarity holds up."
The orange lobsters, named Tangerine and Navel, have a hereditary mutation that causes their unique coloring, making their survival even more crucial.
