Metropolitan Museum will receive 14 ancient sculptures returned to Yemen
Briefly

The 14 ancient bronze and stone sculptures recently returned to Yemen represent a significant step in cultural collaboration, preserving artifacts impacted by Yemen's civil war.
"This is yet another example of our growing and essential collaboration to safeguard Yemen's cultural heritage," Mohammed Al-Hadhrami stated, emphasizing the importance of international partnerships.
The artefacts, dating from the first century BCE to the third century CE, primarily originate from the Bayhan district of the Shabwa Governorate in Yemen.
One highlighted artifact is a funerary stele attributed to the Qatabanian civilization, depicting a woman and reflecting regional funerary traditions.
