Briefly

All of Britain has about 2,500 species of moths, and it would be unfair to let just the clothes moths color your perceptions of the other 99.9%. The others really are special, in all sorts of ways.
Moths are stunningly beautiful animals. For example, the merveille du jour features a velvety plush of green, black and white, perfectly camouflaged on lichen, yet fabulous on any background.
People who hate moths will profess a love of butterflies. However, butterflies are just a group of moths that took to flying by day—essentially a subgroup of moths.
