Rangers To Place Corey Seager On Injured List
Briefly

Manager Chris Young highlighted the uncertainty surrounding Corey Seager's injury, stating it's premature to confirm if surgery will be needed or if he will be sidelined for the season.
Given their current standing at 66-73 and 8.5 games behind a playoff spot, the Rangers have little incentive to rush Seager back, even if the injury is minor.
The club is considering keeping Jonathan Ornelas and Ezequiel Duran in the shortstop position until Seager is able to return or for the remainder of the season.
With Seager placed on the 10-day injured list, the Rangers will call up outfielder Sandro Fabian, necessitating a corresponding move to free up a spot on the 40-man roster.
