The New York Giants are evaluating Evan Neal's future after his struggles at offensive tackle since being drafted seventh overall in 2022. General Manager Joe Schoen indicated that decisions regarding Neal, including a possible position shift to guard, will be considered after free agency. Despite Neal's potential, with a declining performance and injuries leading to diminished playing time, it seems doubtful he will be one of the top five offensive linemen. The Giants plan to pursue free agent options to strengthen their offensive line.
It is highly unlikely one of the best five will include Neal. Schoen said he is anticipating having four returning starters on the offensive line.
We'll talk about that once we get through free agency and see where we are and what we have. We'll talk about how we get our best five on the field.
