I was running for help and there was no one there," Pizarro expressed her desire for safety in public spaces and highlighted the absence of police when she needed assistance most.
"No one called 911. No one in Grand Central called 911. It was my neighbor. I called my neighbor. I was on the phone with my neighbor when it happened and she called 911," she emphasized the shocking lack of immediate response from passersby during her attack.
