Tributes paid to Irish man John Bergin who died following accident while hiking in Sardinia
Briefly

Tributes continue to be paid to Mr Bergin, who worked with Fingal County Council, with those who knew him describing him as "truly one of a kind" and a great librarian who showed "engagement, empathy and kindness" and was "always willing to share his knowledge."
He will also be sorely missed by his work colleagues in Fingal County Council, Local Government Management Agency and a wide circle of friends and neighbours.
John possessed a wit that could brighten the darkest day and his sharp humour was only matched by his kindness and warmth.
He will be "deeply missed by his loving family, sisters-in-law Tara, Cathy, Angela and Paschal's fiancée Cinty, nephews and nieces James, Martha, their mother Grace...".
