The victim was blasted four times in the back and twice in the right arm inside Sky High Exotic on Jamaica Avenue near 120th Street in Richmond Hill around 10:30 p.m.
Some reports suggested the victim intervened to stop one of the suspects from harassing a woman, while others indicated the gunman was triggered when the victim approached the woman.
Police described the suspects - one in a black hat, white T-shirt, gray sweatpants, and white sneakers, the other in a Gucci baseball cap, black T-shirt, black pants, and black sneakers - who fled the scene.
The incident occurred with two male suspects and an employee inside, while a woman had left shortly before the shooting took place.
