Roiniel Perez, 31, has been accused of the gruesome murder of 52-year-old Oscar Rene Hernandez Agustin, whose charred body was found two days after he went missing.
After stealing Hernandez Augustin's car, Perez led police on a high-speed chase, resulting in a crash. He was later apprehended attempting to hide from the authorities.
Evidence found in Perez's possession included the victim's wallet and bank card, along with disturbing photos from inside the car that confirmed his involvement in the crime.
The investigation revealed that Perez picked up Hernandez Augustin, leading to his violent death, yet the details surrounding their relationship remain unclear.
