Met Police investigating pensioner's death in fatal crash with van

Albert Michael Webster, 82, suffered fatal injuries after being struck by a van in Canning Town. He passed away in hospital from a brain injury.
An inquest into Mr. Webster’s death revealed he sustained a left acute subdural haematoma from the collision, compounded by his pre-existing health conditions.
Coroner Graeme Irvine explained that the inquest aims to examine the cause of Mr. Webster's traumatic death and its implications for public safety.
The police are appealing for witnesses to the incident, which occurred on December 6, as they continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding Mr. Webster's fatal injuries.
