Claudiu-Carol Kondor, a 42-year-old delivery driver, was killed while trying to stop his van from being stolen. His tragic death has led to the trial of Mark Ross.
The incident occurred when Mr. Kondor confronted a man attempting to steal his van, resulting in a hit-and-run that left him severely injured. He was later pronounced dead.
Mark Ross, 32, has been charged in connection with Mr. Kondor's murder and his trial is scheduled to begin on March 4, 2025.
A murder investigation was launched by police after Mr. Kondor was found unconscious thanks to the efforts of bystanders who called for emergency services.
