A 17-year-old youth has been found guilty of the murder of 16-year-old Kamari Johnson in a violent dispute over a stolen moped. The incident unfolded after Kamari reneged on a sale agreement for the moped, taking the defendant's cash and fleeing. Angered by this act, the defendant confronted Kamari at his home and fatally stabbed him in the chest. Despite being injured, Kamari attempted to escape on the moped but collapsed shortly after in a nearby area. The case underscores the severe outcomes of youth violence and disputes.
The defendant was left feeling pretty foolish, pretty embarrassed and, no doubt, pretty angry. But whatever Mr. Johnson had done, he didn't deserve what happened next.
He knew where Mr. Johnson lived and he went there looking for him, and when he found him, he stabbed him once through his chest and into his heart.
