The prosecution alleged that Khan inflicted the fatal stab wound and that Miah and Ali were the other two men who attacked the taxi. Khan denied being present at the murder scene, while his co-defendant Naim accepted being the driver of the Mitsubishi car.
Prosecutor Alexandra Healy KC said: 'It appears from the drugs subsequently found on Mr Senaj and messages received from his phone that he was involved in drug dealing.' This suggests a possible motive behind the attack.
Witness accounts indicated that Mr Senaj recognized he was in danger when he informed the taxi driver that the Mitsubishi's occupants would kill him, emphasizing the premeditated nature of the assault.
Four men were found guilty of murder and manslaughter after Mr Senaj was forcibly stopped and fatally stabbed while traveling in a taxi in Newham, east London.
