Officers from Brooklyn's 75th Precinct are investigating a shooting that occurred inside a barber shop, leaving a 39-year-old man seriously wounded and hospitalized.
The incident, happening on January 1, 2025, at approximately 7:45 p.m., resulted in the victim being shot multiple times, including in the torso.
As of now, no arrests have been made in the ongoing investigation, and police remain unaware of the motive or circumstances surrounding the shooting.
In 2024, the 75th Precinct reported a total of 51 shootings by the end of December which is a slight decrease compared to the previous year's statistics.
