The incident occurred shortly before noon when a pickup truck struck a 66-year-old bicyclist at the intersection of Westchester and Commonwealth avenues.
EMS transported the bicyclist to Jacobi Medical Center, but he was pronounced dead upon arrival.
Authorities stated no criminality is suspected and the motorist, a 24-year-old, remained at the scene after the collision.
An NYPD spokesperson confirmed that the investigation into the deadly accident is still ongoing, with no arrests made as of yet.
