"Nahomi was taken from her family way too soon," said Cittadini's friend Jennifer Rudnick in a Facebook post where she shared a GoFundMe for Cittadini's family. "Her family is grieving a very tragic loss. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you."
Authorities received several calls around 6 a.m. Saturday morning about two people arguing in the area where Cittadini's body was found, according to Miami-Dade Police Det. Luis Sierra said.
Pion, 29, has several felony convictions in Broward County on charges including cocaine possession, possession of a weapon by a convicted felon, aggravated fleeing and eluding from police and possession of a controlled substance without a prescription.
Miami-Dade Police said Lorent Pion Jr. is a person of interest in the case, though no formal charges have been filed.
