"Officers responded to a 911 call for an assault inside the building around 10 p.m. Saturday, police said. They found Thompson unconscious in a hallway with stab wounds to her face and abdomen, authorities said. Emergency medical workers transported her to Lincoln Hospital, where she was pronounced dead. Johnson and Ceesay were taken into custody at the scene less than an hour later, police said."

The incident occurred inside a building on Ogden Avenue near West 167th Street after a dispute between Johnson and Thompson. Officers responded to a 911 call around 10 p.m. Saturday and found Thompson unconscious in a hallway with stab wounds to her face and abdomen. Emergency workers transported her to Lincoln Hospital where she was pronounced dead. Johnson and Ceesay were taken into custody at the scene. Ceesay lives in Mott Haven.
