Stefon Diggs faces a felony charge of strangulation and a misdemeanor charge of assault arising from an alleged Dec. 2 incident. A motion hearing occurred at 11 a.m. ET Tuesday at the Dedham District Court, where a judge is considering whether to impound court documents ahead of Diggs' arraignment on Jan. 23. The Patriots stated that Diggs categorically denies the allegations and that the team supports him while cooperating with authorities and the NFL. Diggs' defense warned of a substantial risk of widespread publicity and said it is pursuing a monetary resolution. Diggs leads the team in receptions and yards, and the Patriots head into the AFC playoffs.
