Lawsuit: Cards owner verbally abused assistant
Briefly

Brittany Neuheisel, former assistant to Arizona Cardinals owner Michael Bidwill, has filed a lawsuit alleging he subjected her to severe harassment, including daily verbal abuse. Neuheisel claims she was forced to resign due to a toxic work environment, which included demands to falsify information and disregard personal relationships. The lawsuit details numerous incidents of demeaning treatment, including Bidwill's demands that she disavow her family and instructs her to carry out illegal actions, creating significant emotional distress. The case raises concerns regarding workplace ethics within the sports industry.
Bidwill was demeaning to Neuheisel and would verbally abuse her 'almost every day.' Neuheisel left the Cardinals nine days ago and walked out crying after, her attorney, Mike Caspino, told ESPN, 'Bidwill screamed at her for over a half hour.'
Neuheisel says Bidwill demanded that she disavow her children and grandchildren and that he told Neuheisel that her relationships were 'affecting her work performance.'
Neuheisel says Bidwill asked her to make multiple false claims, including shipping a firearm through FedEx to an acquaintance.
When Neuheisel objected, Bidwill would allegedly tell Neuheisel, a practicing Catholic, 'Do it and then go to confession.'
