America's Fastest EV Charging Company Had A Big Year
Briefly

Building EV chargers in dense urban centers like NYC poses significant challenges due to space limitations, high costs, and lengthy permits. However, startups like Gravity and city initiatives are enhancing the charging infrastructure. Gravity set a remarkable benchmark with 40,000 charging sessions during its first year, while claiming a 100% uptime at its Midtown station, which boasts rapid chargers capable of up to 500 kW. CEO Moshe Cohen believes if successful in NYC, their solutions can be adapted anywhere, reflecting their innovative strategy and adaptability in the EV charging market.
"If you can make high-quality and reliable charging work in New York City, you can make it work anywhere," said Gravity CEO Moshe Cohen, emphasizing the challenges overcome in NYC.
"We design the hardware and software and we operate sites. So, we have a unique ability to react to different things that happen in the market and adapt the technology," Cohen explains on their innovative approach.
