Stijn & Nele Hexagonal House / Atelier Vens Vanbelle
Briefly

The architects opted for a hexagonal building volume, leveraging a compact design that allows for maximum efficiency in resource use, optimizing space and material.
The central hexagon design reduces wasted space for circulation, allowing the wooden ceiling beams to radiate out to provide a sense of openness and light.
A strategically placed dome enriches the interior with natural light, while a circular gap under it channels sunlight to the ground floor, enhancing atmosphere.
The interior design features a mix of materials, including blue zelliges for planters, creating an engaging blend of aesthetics and functionality throughout the space.
