Saudi Arabia breaks ground on $50B Mukaab, the 'world's largest building' - which can hold 20 Empire State Buildings

The Mukaab, a groundbreaking $50 billion project in Riyadh, aims to redefine urban living with 1,300 feet high and a volume equivalent to 20 Empire State Buildings.

With its ‘human-first’ design, The Mukaab will incorporate green spaces accessible within 15 minutes from any point, promising a highly livable environment.

Drawing design inspiration from the local ecology, The Mukaab will reflect regional architecture while adding $51 billion to the non-oil GDP and creating 334,000 jobs.

The ambitious structure will feature 104,000 residential units and 9,000 hotel rooms, positioning itself as a comprehensive downtown-in-a-box for a modern Saudi lifestyle.
