FM House / sontangMsiregar Architects
Briefly

The residence in Jakarta utilizes brick as its primary material, resulting in a monochromatic tone that bestows an exclusive character, harmonizing the building with its vicinity.
Multiple building masses organized into functional clusters—semi-private, private, and service—create a well-defined spatial experience, while the iron-bar fence maintains visual clarity.
The design emphasizes a dramatic entrance with a 1.5 m brick door, contrasting the experience outside with a lighter, open interior featuring significant glass openings.
Through expansive openings and a terrace that bridges interior and exterior, the home fosters continual interaction with the pool view, enhanced by an extended roof for comfort.
