In a shocking incident early Friday morning in The Bronx, a 21-year-old man was attacked and stabbed multiple times with a metal knuckle knife on a southbound 2 train. The assault unfolded around 7 a.m. as the assailant moved between train carriages. Following the attack, the victim was found conscious and alert at the 219 St station, suffering from stab wounds to his right forearm. Despite being stable after treatment at NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi, police report that the attack appeared to be unprovoked, with no prior interaction between the victim and attacker, who remains at large.
