A tragic shooting incident in Harlem on April 22 left a 61-year-old grandmother dead after a stray bullet hit her while she was checking on her grandson during a violent exchange of gunfire between two groups. The incident unfolded near West 113th Street and Lenox Avenue at around 10:20 p.m. Police reported the grandmother was pronounced dead after being rushed to Mount Sinai Morningside Hospital.
