In a tragic incident stemming from gang-related violence in the Bronx, police have arrested a second 13-year-old boy accused of murder after a bystander, Daoud Marji, was killed by a stray bullet. The boy was apprehended on April 23, the same day as the shooting. He faces several charges, including second-degree murder and first-degree manslaughter. Both the victim Marji and another injured woman were bystanders during a dispute between groups. Police have arrested another teen, and both remain unidentified due to their ages.
The 13-year-old boy was taken into custody Wednesday around 7 p.m. in the same police precinct where the shooting occurred on the afternoon of April 23, officials said.
Law enforcement officials have not identified the teens because they are minors. Their attorney information was not immediately available.
