Illuminate and San Francisco Recreation and Park Department will kick off the 2025 music season at the Golden Gate Bandshell with over 125 free concerts from March to November. The season begins with women-fronted acts and includes diverse genres that have characterized the Bandshell's rich musical history, which has hosted more than 600 shows attracting close to 1 million attendees. This year marks the venue's 125th anniversary, spotlighting its renovation in 2020 and future events like a tribute to Paul McCartney in coordination with a related museum exhibit.
