The CoSigns Sessions event, held at Brooklyn's Sound Mind Center, featured BODEGA and THICK performing acoustic sets. The concert focused on both musical performances and discussions on mental health, supporting the mission of the Sound Mind organization. THICK softened their punk sound to offer a more vulnerable take on their lyrics, while BODEGA delved into existential themes. The event included an open conversation about mental health, highlighting the importance of such discussions within the music community.
We're normally screaming on stage, but you can actually hear the lyrics now. It's vulnerable!
BODEGA went mostly acoustic for their set...and even treated the audience to a cover of Milk Dick's 'Cry When Yr Young.'
Many of their lyrics offer a critical take on how the modern world obscures our true selves, providing a fascinating perspective on everyday challenges.
THICK's songs like 'Tell Myself' and new track 'I'm Not Dying' explore many of the mental and emotional struggles many of us face.
