"It's been amazing to create some new food, and I'll miss seeing my neighbors come through the doors regularly, but it's also not a complete break from the community, and I hope to continue doing the work that I am doing now," she says.
Today, December 13, Seemann opens the door on her first restaurant, Gator, at 105 Norman Avenue, at Leonard Street. An opening menu lists a cheeseburger with miso tempura mushrooms, crispy chicken paillard, sticky short ribs with coconut grits, and bruleed bread pudding.
