The José Andrés Group is set to open a Zaytinya at the Shay hotel in Culver City, integrating the restaurant's successful Mediterranean cuisine within a larger food program.
"Culver City is a hub of entertainment studios, where people in film and television come together to tell stories much in the way that we at Zaytinya see sharing the diverse culture of cuisines through food," said CEO Sam Bakhshandehpour.
The restaurant will feature designs similar to Zaytinya's other locations, using warm bronze metals, white oak, and blue accents to evoke the Eastern Mediterranean spirit.
While the interior and ambiance will be aligned with existing Zaytinya restaurants, the menu will include favorites like crispy Brussels sprouts and a shareable kebab platter.
