Chef Andrew Carmellini is set to launch the second Locanda Verde location at 50 Hudson Yards in November, aiming to replicate the iconic success of the original.
The new Locanda Verde will feature a 6,000-square-foot area with two bars and an outdoor terrace, combining new dishes with beloved favorites like grandmother's ravioli.
Designed by Romans and Williams, the restaurant's aesthetic will feature neutrals, woods and mid-century accents, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere, unlike the area’s other destinations.
Hudson Yards has struggled to establish its culinary identity, but Locanda Verde’s opening could provide the boost this expensive location needs.
