More EV fast-charger stations coming to Brooklyn
Briefly

The City of New York is strategically enhancing its EV infrastructure by introducing fast-charging stations, significantly facilitating electric vehicle usage across the metro area.
Each new charging station will feature four fast chargers, allowing electric vehicles to achieve an 80% charge in about 20 minutes to one hour.
By January 2025, the Bensonhurst and Bronx locations will provide both fast and Level 2 chargers, addressing the growing demand for reliable electric vehicle charging.
With approximately 62,192 electric vehicles registered in NYC, the initiative underscores the city's commitment to supporting the transition to clean energy by boosting EV accessibility.
