Festival celebrating African and Caribbean food to come to Woolwich this weekend
Briefly

Black Eats Fest will take place in Woolwich on September 14-15, showcasing Black-owned food businesses with a range of African and Caribbean cuisines, alongside arts and family-friendly activities.
This year, the festival will welcome notable vendors such as SuyaPit and Jerk Village, plus vegan offerings from The Guava Kitchen, ensuring a diverse culinary experience.
With previous events attracting over 250,000 attendees in Hackney, this expansion represents significant growth for Black Eats, the UK’s first Black-owned restaurant directory.
The festival will include a curated art exhibition, beauty stalls, a bookshop, and live DJs, making it an all-encompassing cultural celebration for attendees.
