Scowl Announce New Album Are We All Angels, Share Video for New Song
Briefly

Scowl has announced their second full-length album titled 'Are We All Angels', set to release on April 4. The band debuted a new song, "Not Hell, Not Heaven," accompanied by a music video recorded at the renowned 924 Gilman Street. Frontwoman Kat Moss shared insights into the song's themes of victimhood and empowerment. The band has collaborated again with producer Will Yip, aiming for a more melodic style that blends elements of pop punk and alt-rock than their previous hardcore sound.
Scowl frontwoman Kat Moss explained that the new song is about "feeling victimized and being a victim, but not wanting to identify with being a victim."
Scowl reunited with Grammy-nominated producer Will Yip for Are We All Angels after working together on 2023's Psychic Dance Routine EP.
