Lil Nas X's father breaks silence on son's arrest, says rapper is 'remorseful'
Briefly

Lil Nas X is described as very remorseful for an incident on 21 August and is in good spirits while set to receive help. He denied taking illegal drugs prior to the arrest. Passers-by filmed him walking on Ventura Boulevard wearing only white underwear and white cowboy boots while appearing to act erratically. Los Angeles police placed him under arrest on suspicion of battery after he allegedly charged at officers, and he was taken to hospital for treatment for a possible overdose. He faces four felony charges — three counts of battery with injury on a police officer and one count of resisting an executive officer — pleaded not guilty, had bail set at $75,000, was instructed to attend four Narcotics Anonymous meetings per week, and posted bail late on Monday.
"He's going to get the help that he needs, and just keep him in your prayers," Stafford said.
"Give him the same grace and mercy that God gives everyone. "He's doing great mentally. We shed tears, we shed laughter, but he's in great spirits. He's gonna be great."
"Absolutely not."
