Netflix will try a TikTok-like feed on its mobile app
Briefly

Netflix is set to begin testing a new vertical video feed in its mobile app that mimics the experience of platforms like TikTok. This feature aims to facilitate easier content discovery, allowing users to watch shows or movies instantly, save them for later, or share clips with friends. The test builds on previous features like 'Fast Laughs' and 'Kids Clips,' suggesting a broader scope for enhancing user engagement. Alongside this, Netflix revealed plans to rollout a revamped design for its TV app.
"We know that swiping through a vertical feed on social media apps is an easy way to browse video content," Chief Product Officer Eunice Kim said.
This new test seems much broader so that it has a better chance of helping you find something you might want to watch.
