LinkedIn is launching a full-screen video format for its global users after a successful two-month trial. In addition to this feature, the platform will test different placements for video, which may lead to the temporary removal of the video tab in certain regions. Gyanda Sachdeva, VP of Product Management, indicated that these adjustments will vary by country. The company also reported a 36% increase in video views over the past year, reflecting growing engagement with video content among its users.
LinkedIn is implementing a full-screen video design globally and experimenting with different video placements in the app's interface.
The removal of the video tab in some countries, with My Network moving to the left, reflects LinkedIn's commitment to optimizing user interface.
"As part of this, you may notice some changes in how you access video, depending on the country you're in," said Gyanda Sachdeva.
Video views on LinkedIn have surged by 36% over the last year, highlighting the platform's growing engagement with video content.
