Dannielle Spillman, a 74-year-old member of the transgender community, was killed by driver Valentino Cash Amil after a confrontation over a blocked sidewalk. Spillman poured water on Amil's car, leading him to accelerate into her. She was pronounced dead shortly after the incident. Friends described Spillman as kind and generous, known for her unique style and love for guitars. Amil has been charged with murder and fleeing the scene, and was arrested two hours later.
